A forest of frost fractals

Another frost fractal on the bedroom window, zoomed and cropped. The tiny ice crystals capture rays of early morning sun. It has the look of a moonlit line of scruffy evergreens on the crest of a hill.

Great pic G. I love your description of the trees on a hill, look hard enough and you can even see the skiers, snowboarders and kids making snowmen. Thx for a lovely pic, Take care Ro

Thnks Ro. Frost on the window is one of the things about winter I like.

Yep me too. Gives me that nice cosy feeling, unfortunately frost on our windows is about as rare as watching polar bears walk by outside..

Great pic GT. You should et yourself registered with one of the image libraries ... the Geisha's lips shot of the other day is world-class!

Another great shot. Did it look like that or did you blow it up?

Thank you! I shot the frost with a 200mm lens. I got as close as possible - and still keep focus. After I downloaded the shot I zoomed and cropped it to get he best part. But this is what I had in mind when I shot it.
